Who are School Counselors?

School Counselors are a type of helper in your school.
We help kids with things like problem solving, making good choices, understanding feelings, and making friends! 

School Counselors Believe:
*Children have the ability to grow and reach their own potential

*Children are beginning to develop decision-making, communication and life skills, as well as character values.

*Children learn best when they feel good about themselves and their relationships with others.

*Children who understand their feelings are better able to control their behavior

*Children are capable of making responsible choices

*Attitudes formed during elementary school shape future attitudes towards learning, self, others and society.
